Dial it on your phone. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. It must also be carrier-unlocked.
- Apple iPhoneiPhone XR, XS and every model since.

Is my phone unlocked?
Phones locked to a carrier can't use another provider's eSIM. On iPhone, check Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock. It should say "No SIM restrictions". On Android, check your network's website or ask them to unlock it. Most UK phones sold since December 2021 are unlocked.

- Open your phone app and dial
*#06#. - If you see a number labelled EID, your phone supports eSIM.
- No EID? Your phone (or that regional version) doesn't support eSIM.
